SWCD Board meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the USDA Office.  The public is welcome

 

We have available:

  • 2010 plat books for sale for $20
  • Survey flags $12/bundle of 100
  • Rain barrels--gray or black--order by calling 765-653-7454
  • Soil Maps on the web at http://websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app/
  • No-till drill--Quail Unlimited working with the SWCD for warm season grass plantings has a not-till drill available for rent.  Contact bill Fielding at 317-213-0660 if you wish to rent the drill.  The drill rents for $200/day

Putnam County Community Foundation

The Putnam County SWCD Board of Supervisors set up and endowment Fund with the Puntam County Community Foundation for the purpose of future programs, cost-share and technicial assistance.

The Community Foundation offers a one year 50% matching grant to help non-profits build their endowments at the Community Foundation.  The Putnam County SWCD Endowment matching grant cycle will end on November 1, 2010.  

Your gift to the Putnam Co. SWCD endowment offers a reliable source of unrestricted income every organization requires for overall financial health.  Donations to the Putnam County SWCD Endowment is tax deductible.  Your generosity and forethought will help ensure that the natural resources of Putnam County will be enjoyed by your family in future generations.
