Our Mission:  

To promote the conservation of Putnam County soil and water resources.

Our Purpose:

To promote the wise use of Putnam County soil and water resources, affect the future status of these resources and provide education, technical assistance, and financial assistance to landowners and operators, agri-business, and state and local government agencies in conserving these resources.

     MONTHLY SWCD MEETINGS:

Putnam County SWCD monthly board meetings

are held the third Wednesday of each month

@ 9:00 AM at the USDA Farm Service Center.

   Our congratulations to Tyler Heavin, R.T. Mann, Taylor Zaring, Kendra Sutherlin and Andrew Whitman for receiving award plaques, sponsored by the SWCD, in the 4-H conservation programs this year at the County Fair.
